Fördermitglied werden / Becoming a Sustaining Member

We invite you to become a sustaining member of the festival.

GIEFF e.V. is a non-profit association (statutes) with the aim of:

1. organising the festival
2. informing via Internet
3. archiving and securing the material
4. cooperating with anthropological film festivals in Europe

The Festival itself has the aim of:

1. promoting documentary cinema in the context of intra- and intercultural communication with a special emphasize on new films, videos or interactive media dealing with anthropology, sociology and cultural studies in a wide sense of the term.
2. supporting the discussion on documentary, especially ethnographic filmmaking
3. supporting young people giving a student award
4. bringing young people and professionals in contact

Becoming a sustaining member of GIEFF e.V. (application)

1. you are supporting the continuous work of GIEFF.
2. you are getting free entrance to the festival
3. you can set off the fee against tax liability in Germany

You can also support the festival by giving a donation.
